  • Little Dove Counseling is geared towards young families. Because talk therapy is not appropriate for small children, Little Dove Counseling utilizes play therapy, which requires a vast amount of materials and supplies. Additionally, Little Dove Counseling provides a lot more than the 50 minute session in a week. The therapist is hands on, available between sessions, and always provides a treatment plan for your family. The fee at Little Dove Counseling covers your place at the practice, not just your session.

  • The first step in to schedule a free 15 minute phone call to ensure fit. From there, the parent and therapist will meet for an intake session to talk about the main needs and therapy process. If all feels good to you, we will move to a parent, child, and therapist session. From there, the therapist and parent will meet once more to complete the in-depth assessment and develop a plan for treatment. Little Dove Counseling will always provide holistic recommendations as needed, such as psychological evaluations, doctor’s visits, and school support.
